Reception Admission September 2021 Advice to Parents
In the context of COVID -19 the admission authority for the school, has decided to make changes to the policy and supplementary form for pupils applying for entry to Reception in September 2021.
These changes uphold the spirit of the policy, whilst adjusting attendance thresholds in the light of reality.
Please read the full policy and supplementary form carefully and note the changes made which have been highlighted.
Please note, due to the context and timings we find ourselves in, church schools are unable to consult in the normal way on adjustments to admissions arrangements for September 2021. Under the Schools Admission Code consultations on any changes for September 2021 should take place between 1st October 2019 and 31st January 2020 which was, of course, pre- COVID. Therefore a notification of proposed changes has been issued and the Office of the Schools Adjudicator will notify school, by the 31st August, if the changes have been upheld.

The agreed Published Admission Number (PAN) for the Reception Class is 30. Responsibility for admissions is delegated to the Governors Admissions Committee. Information on how to apply for a place is contained within the school Admissions Policy which is available to view on this website.
We strongly recommend that you also make an appointment to view the school prior to application. ~Please contact the school office 0161 770 8309.
In-Year (Non-Routine) Admissions
It sometimes happens that a child needs to change school other than at the ‘normal’ time; such admissions are known as in-year or non-routine admissions. Parents wishing their child to attend this school should contact the school office for further information.
