Class: Year 5 Year: 2025 - 2026

Today we had a NOW moment with Father Paul in Circle Time.  We focused on the word “PEACE”.

We started by focusing our senses with; a sweet to eat, a scented candle, some gentle music and a felt cross to hold.  We thought about the symbols of peace Father Paul had brought – a cross and a rainbow.

He guided us through a meditation into picturing walking down stairs towards Jesus who was waiting to bring peace into our hearts.  We concentrated on this by repeating “Peace be with you”.  We were reminded that Jesus was the Prince of Peace before listening carefully to the words of the hymn “Make me a channel of your peace”.
