The Great Fire of London

As a hook into their new history topic, Year 2 enjoyed a drama re-enactment of the Great Fire of London. They were transported back in time to Sunday 2nd September 1666 and to London where they had the challenge of putting out the fire. They discovered how fast the fire spread across London and how difficult it was to try and stop the fire with the limited equipment that they had!
