Class: Year 5 Year: 2025 - 2026

We've been set a challenge by "King Charles" - to design a new sweet or savoury scone for his next VE Day Celebration. Before we start planning our ideas, we obviously need to evaluate what's already out there. So we had a lovely afternoon tasting cakes!!! 

Tuesday 23rd June - Today we evaluated the Scottish oatcake. We tried 6 different toppings; Greek yoghurt, sweet chilli sauce, honey, pesto, biscoff spread and hummus. We'll use this research to help us plan our scone design next week.
