Aspirations and Careers Week  - Mr Qureshi Career Talk

Mr Qureshi (Dad of a former pupil) came to talk to us about his life and careers including; Police and Prison officer, sales manager and Business Development Manager.

He spoke about how “Inspiration and Ambition” are the keys to success.  That you need a clear vision of a dream for yourself and the ambition to go for it. Also, to always have a back up plan!

He believes in the 3 R’s – Resilience, Respect and Responsibility and how failing is part of the journey as you learn and improve from your mistakes.

It was really interesting to learn that the skill he has found most useful in all his jobs has been the skill of listening.
