Emotional health and mental well-being…

Hello everyone.

I just want to point you in the direction of a new set of resources on our ‘Learning’ tab dropdown on the website.

If you click on it, you will find a range of resources and documents that contain some useful advice: especially if your children are struggling somewhat during the lockdown.

Please take a moment to have a look at the resources – particularly the information on World Mental Health Awareness Day.

Don’t forget, if we can help – we will do our best. There is usually someone here at school you can talk to.

Best wishes to you all on behalf of all the staff here at St Mary’s.

Mr Day

Sugar Plum

Our Sugar Plum was a super success, well done to all of Year 1.

We learnt about what life was like 100 + years ago. We learnt about inventions and we’re going to make blueprints for our own inventions.

Bear Hunt

We had fun making up our own bear hunt path in the playground.

Year 1 recently set off on a walk around the local area to learn more about our community.

Year 1 had a great time at the museum. We learnt lots of things about life in Victorian Times.

Pancake Day

Year 1 had a great time doing the sponsored pancake event. Thank you to all your support sponsoring the children. The children enjoyed the activity and they showed great skill!!!

Year 5 Light and Dark

We found out about day and night from Year 5 children. They were very good at explaining information and we were excellent at listening.

HMP Prison Visit

The Community Team from HM Prison service have special dogs that work with them. We enjoyed meeting Charlotte, who is 4 years old.
